Being an orthodontist for me is a dream come true. I love getting to know the people of my community and helping them attain beautiful, healthy smiles and optimal bites that last a lifetime. My patients are my inspiration and my daily motivation to improve my skills. I am never bored with what I do, and love making people's lives better!
Education and Continuing Education
After I graduated from Rutgers University with my undergraduate degree, I attended New Jersey Dental School for both my DMD degree and my certificate in post-graduate orthodontic training.
I have been practicing orthodontics since 1995, and think of my profession as a lifelong learning experience. I am active in continuing orthodontic education every year. I recently completed training in the use of temporary anchorage devices to greatly enhance the quality of orthodontic care I provide for my patients. I am also active in the American Dental Association and the American Association of Orthodontists.

Using the latest advances in orthodontic techniques I essentially get to be an artist who uses science to create beautiful smiles!
Often, orthodontics is more than creating a smile that looks great. Many of my patients come in with discomfort from a misaligned jaw or teeth that make it difficult to chew properly. My work helps the people of my community live comfortably and happily, with smiles they love to show off! Building someone's confidence through orthodontics is a truly rewarding profession, and I couldn't imagine doing anything else.
Family and Community
I grew up in New Jersey, and have lived in Miami since 1995. My wife, Marie, and I have two sons named Michael and William. When I am not at work, I enjoy running, biking, reading, and of course spending time with my family.
I am also active in our community, both through local dental and orthodontic organizations and as a sponsor of community youth athletics.
